Residential Tankless

  • Annual service (or more frequently if water conditions require)
  • Flush the water heater to remove sediment and calcium from the heat exchanger
  • Clean the inlet water filter
  • Inspect the flame sensor and clean if necessary
  • Inspect the T & P valve
  • Carefully Inspect the venting system and vent termination

Tank Gas Fired Water Heaters

  • Flushing of the water heater tank to remove sediment and mineral deposits
  • Inspect the anode rod
  • Inspect the flame arrestor and clean if necessary
  • Inspect the thermopile or thermocouple
  • Inspect the T & P valve
  • Carefully Inspect the venting system

Heat Pump Water Heaters

  • Flushing of the water heater tank to remove sediment and mineral deposits
  • Inspect the anode rod
  • Inspect and clean the air filters
  • Test operate the system in all energy saver, heat pump, and high demand operating modes
  • Inspect the T & P valve

Gas Boiler Systems

  • Inspect the boiler and remove and accumulate dirt or debris
  • Inspect the DHW heat exchanger (if appropriate) to ensure that it is clean. Flush DHW heat exchange if required.
  • Clean the DHW inlet water filter
  • Inspect the flame sensor and clean if necessary
  • Inspect the T & P valve
  • Carefully Inspect the venting system and vent termination
  • Check circulator operation
  • Test fire the system and verify proper operation of each zone
