Annual service (or more frequently if water conditions require)
Flush the water heater to remove sediment and calcium from the heat exchanger
Clean the inlet water filter
Inspect the flame sensor and clean if necessary
Inspect the T & P valve
Carefully Inspect the venting system and vent termination

Tank Gas Fired Water Heaters

Flushing of the water heater tank to remove sediment and mineral deposits
Inspect the anode rod
Inspect the flame arrestor and clean if necessary
Inspect the thermopile or thermocouple
Inspect the T & P valve

Heat Pump Water Heaters
